Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 21 October 2026

This page is available in several languages. If the versions differ, the English version prevails.

You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time. Which way is fastest depends on how your data came to Wotrace.

If you have a Wotrace account

  • Your organisation’s administrators can edit or delete records, users and files directly in Wotrace.
  • To close your organisation’s account and delete all of its data, an administrator can email help@wotrace.com from the address registered on the account, with the subject “Delete account” and your company code. We confirm the request, then delete the data within 30 days.

If a business that uses Wotrace has your data

For example, you filled in a form on a business’s website, sent a message to its WhatsApp number, or answered one of its Facebook or Instagram lead ads. That business controls your data, so please ask it to delete your data. If you cannot reach the business, email us and we will pass on your request and help the business act on it.

If you connected Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp

  1. Remove the Wotrace app from your Facebook settings: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites), select Wotrace and choose Remove. This stops any further data from being shared with Wotrace.
  2. Email help@wotrace.com with the subject “Data deletion request”, and include your name and the Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number concerned.
  3. We confirm your request within 7 days and delete the data we received through Meta within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep part of it. We will send you a confirmation when it is done.

What we delete

We delete the personal data we hold about you — including lead answers, messages, identifiers and access tokens received from connected services — from our live systems. Copies in backups are overwritten within 30 days. We may keep a minimal record of the request itself, to show that it was handled.
